Subject to a test in Jan when they get a demo bike. Mine is due April or before. It would workout well as to modify my insurance ending in May would cost 75quid the same to cancel. My insurance last yr was £62Looks like fun.
In all fairness the 900 looks like a very capable bike going on the reviews and i'm sure you will love it Keep looking at my KTM superduke wrapped up like a baby for the winter and can't wait for the springSubject to a test in Jan when they get a demo bike. And it stops me getting it mucky in all the carp on the roads My current 800 Tiger was blathered when I got back from the dealer in York
For sure. I like the 800 but it struggles at low RPM, camping a week ago, I was having to ride faster than I wanted to to keep the rpm up otherwise it just stalled in the mud. The T plane crank produces more torque at low rpm on the 900, and hopefully the road test will confirm the better MPG as that's pants on the 800.In all fairness the 900 looks like a very capable bike going on the reviews and i'm sure you will love it Keep looking at my KTM superduke wrapped up like a baby for the winter and can't wait for the spring
A mates 800 lives here and its great fun on the road. Not tried it off road as Im too old and wobbly for the beating I would get...For sure. T plane cranks are the best of both worlds...I rode the 800 before i settled on the 1200 explorer. The 800 just felt a bit revvy and flat, plus i did not like the chain drive. Gave my explorer a few mods, rear wheel from the big 2017 triumph trophy (6" rim) that took some machining on the wheel face to get it to fit but i was able to mount a 180 section tyre from the OEM 150...front wheel from a sprint (17") from the OEM 19"..transformed the way the bike handled. and a fruity exhaust which i thought was the cherry. For sure. Some phrases could be about women or bikes - but that could only ever be about a bikeyes very top heavy, that's why she had to go.
nice shaped handle to put a scaffolding pole over
Been doing that to a Halfords 1/2" drive version, as well as hammering it, since I was given it from a work tool box when work closed down over 20 yrs ago. Bit of slop in the pivot these days, but it's been impressive!nice shaped handle to put a scaffolding pole over
