Fag ball bearings for my Hitachi G12SE2 , 608 for the commutator side ,629 for the pinion side of the armature ,6201 for the spindle .
Going to restore it because I love this grinder .
Which I've actually got for free in 2017 I believe,it had a ball bearing failure , then after 5 or 6 years I've replaced the switch at the brushes

Interesting about the disposable o2, how long do they last?

It depends of course, can only guide that I've done a few hours work with one that was not full to begin with, great for brazing, thick soldering etc and getting stuff very hot, stated 3000c. Being small portable kit/torch, tight access is also good and alternative to induction elements.

However... the O2 bottle I got from Zoro does not fit my Rothenberger valve pressure reducer! 3/8 BSP being too big, not sure what the original Rotherberger size is.
I can still get the Roth O2 bottles off ebay at twice the price! and likely old stock...

Roth in UK have confirmed that they don't support the old Roxy kits at all now, have 2 full bottles of their O2 left, once thats gone I will probably get one of the oxy turbo options below.

Bought a Bosch professional multi tool. GOP 30-28 300W. It was on sale in Screwfix plus 10% off for using the app to order, so 70 quid.

Having seen a youtube video from another forum member on cutting 2mm steel with a Bosch aiz32ab blade I ordered a pack of 5 with the intention of using them to slice out the rotten side rails/ seat belt mounts/ outrigger ends on my scimitar. Metal thickness is approx 2-2.5mm. i will use grinders wherever possible but some cuts with the multi tool will be essential.
The access especially around the seat belt mounts is hopeless for circular saws/ grinders and not ideal for reciprocating saws either unless you cut away lots of fibreglass to gain access. Access for a mig welding torch is plenty adequate though as is access for a die grinder to clean up the substrate.

Hopefully using it at a slow speed with regular cooling to prolong blade life will get me there so I don't have to cut the fibreglass or take the body off.
He uses a 500w multi tool in this video but with the same blade the 300w should get there eventually.

Gonna get going on Monday with hacking out the rusty bits of chassis so I will start a project thread.

Used my DeWalt multi tool to cut out the rails on my MR2 ..worked fine. It's a precision tool so it's possible to make very neat cuts with it. I found it's best not to apply too much pressure...also I preferred the half moon blades as they have a lot more teeth.

I guess my question is will an oxy bottle last as long as a mapp substitute propene disposable bottle? Or perhaps it takes 10 oxy bottles to use up a propene?

Must be able to get adaptors for it, no?

Went to lidl and saw they had flux wire. I had been meaning to get some and test my mig again. 0.6mm and 1mm.

20mm insert endmill off amazon and some strong magnets for a floor sweeper.

My local shop has 5 of the plasma cutters (without compressor version), incase anyone was after one.

I have one of these, it's a good bit of kit but make sure you buy the right sort of iPhone. It doesn't fit the newer ones.

I gave up on trying to keep the mice out of my shed. I did hope it may attract a tidy mouse but not so far!
They seem to live in my bag of rags, last time I went to get a rag 3 jumped out and scared the bejesus out of me, and they have been nibbling on my padded crawler board!

Well air gun target shooting can be a new great hobby for you
There are natural deterrent bags to place around, they look like poisonous bags but they are actually safe, they just smell bad for mice and they feel uncomfortable to stay, I have to buy some myself too.

Bought a "new" Magneti Marelli IAW59FM3 ECU for my Punto 188 ...
Hoping it will solve the problem because just love that car, way better for city driving and going in the country than my A4 B6
