Mine arrived today, quick inspection they appear good, except ai assume its a 3/8 UNF thread? Would be much more useful if they were M8.


Also while we are talking of squares above... This is a good thing to have and comes with a square. Easily worth the £30 when you need to set an accurate angle.

I set it using a 1-2-3 block, perpendicular to the cutter relative to the lathe chuck.

A new neighbour has moved in, this is some of the stuff I was gifted from their skip.

Theses are pants, they strip out the threads and the Torx holes are like butter.

2more Pencil sharpeners. The hovercraft is one I had many many decades ago.

Looks good, but the batteries have leaked.
The Volts and Amps still work

Complete, but in need of some TLC.

A tidy set of scales.

A skip find.

I re-acquired this hammer, 25 years after I lent it to my now, late, brother. The magnet in the groove holds a nail for initial placement, then hit (and bend) as usual.

They are just (hopefully) matched blocks which are square and parallel and 1" by 2" by 3" with a series of tapped and clearance holes.
You can use them for spacing off parts, or bolt them together or to other things in various configurations for making jigs and fixtures or setting up for different machining operations.

Really just a handy reference and spacer dimensioned in convenient multiples which you can stack up and bolt things to as required.

Thanks for that, I think I may need them for the future.
