I've never used a Megger (& have no idea how to use one). I've relied on my multimeter for basic insulation & resistance tests - but I understand they are the right kit for the job.

I've just acquired a Milwaukee shockwave right-angle-attachment, its impact rated and quite thin so ideal for getting into tight corners. Its 20% off at Toolstation at the moment. I won't buy from Amazon/Ebay as there are loads of cheap copies knocking about. At £20 I thought it was a good buy and makes picking up the usual brackets and postfix from them more interesting.

That was what I thought too. One of the employees explained when I asked what a tobacco recovery machine was.
If cigarettes gets rejected (damaged, not straight, filter crushed or whatever) they use a tobacco recovery machine to remove the filter and paper from the tobacco so the tobacco can be re used.

Holders look to be Sk40, so one for the HAAS fanboi’s

Oxy propane heating torch. I have a heating tip for the acetylene, but my acetylene botle is almost empty so it can't delvier the flow, and we can no longer get owner acetylene bottles refilled in New Zealand.
I alos bought some propane cutting tips for my Comweld cutting torch fromk a local online supplier and a new LPG oxy hose since the old hose is tired.
Now need to get another LPG bottle. I thought I had spares but they have been borrowed for the house cooktop and barbeque.

My first proper engineering job was with Philip Morris Engineering in London 30 yrs ago - they rebuilt their own cigarette making machines, built special purpose machines. Cigarette making machines back then could run 15,000 cigarettes a minute - doesn't take very long with an issue - a stuck cigarette, a bent bit of card, a slightly misaligned guard, before you've made a lot a of damaged cigarettes.
They used to test machines with just filter material - then finally with tobacco. Bonded warehouse on-site so tobacco used specifically for testing and then destroyed did not have to have duty paid/could be recovered, I forget which.

A Vevor retractable air hose. At just over 50 quid it will save me from swearing at the hose we use for pumping tyres up in the barn, laying around and getting tangled with the wife's garden tools. I don't expect much for that money but we only use it about once a month so didn't want to spend more.

Loads of stuff has arrived for the Kawasaki Mule. Some Raptor bed paint, all sorts of switches and fuse boxes to sort out the dodgy cabling, plus a couple of these LED combined spot/floods. I don't need a gigawatt light bar, these are supposedly 120W each, so 10amps if you go by individual LED count, actual power consumption is probably closer to 6 amps, I'm going to give them a test in a while. One facing front and one to the back should cover it.

I needed some BT30 tooling for the new CNC mill as it came with an "Easy Change" chuck with a ER16 collet holder.
Score 1 from machinery dealer in Wigston.
Two sizes of Bristol Erickson holders and many collets and an MT2 holder and an Easy Change boring head. This would have been plenty but .....
A couple of Indexa Seiki ER16 holders with 3 boxes of IS ER16 collets popped up on eBay.
Then I saw a brand new Indexa Seiki ER32 chuck cheap as well so that's arrived. I needed ER32 collets for this and a Myford Collet chuck so some cheap Vevor ones will do for now.
I've got an R8 taper Easy Change holder to so can use those tools on my manual mill. T

I have had a couple of those type, try to keep it out of sunlight (uv) as my first one suffered quite badly within 18 months. the second I positioned away from the window in the garage and it is now about 5-6 years old and still working well.
