Going by the size of the legs I'd never want to run into a wild one. You're thinking of doner kebab

'Yes'
I am now the proud owner of 5 watering cans with no spouts, they were shiny so I had to save them from the skip. I riveted a patch over the holes and now I have 5 bucket / cans that are equally useless

A bit of sealant under the patch, and they're far better than plastic buckets. .I am now the proud owner of 5 watering cans with no spouts, they were shiny so I had to save them from the skip. I riveted a patch over the holes and now I have 5 bucket / cans that are equally useless

I had to buy some coal for the forge a year ago. 360kg at $nz60 per 20kg bag, plus $20 freight from the South Island to Auckland. That is 40 uk pounds for 20kg. Apparently coal is evil and has a global warming tax but I can't believe how much it has gone up. I previously picked up bags when on holiday to the west coast, where the mines are.A grand supply of coke for the forge, which is getting harder to source and of varying quality, possibly getting worse, apparently many of the small mines with only a handful, perhaps only one miner , have closed recently .
Glasses to see where to place the coke!View attachment 455499View attachment 455500View attachment 455499View attachment 455500
NoCould you mig braze a spout back on ( bit of galv tubing would work).
You might well be able to stick some spouts on by ladle-casting on a zinc alloy surrounding boss .I am now the proud owner of 5 watering cans with no spouts, they were shiny so I had to save them from the skip. I riveted a patch over the holes and now I have 5 bucket / cans that are equally useless
