Would it be worth making up a new front panel with circular openings? No choice but to replace with genuine due to the shape of the openings.

I'll be honest, the holes are too small as they are.Or 3d printing/machining hole adaptors
Generic gloves available from ebay etc are really poor, stiff, pain in the ass to use.Would it be worth making up a new front panel with circular openings?
I like 70s wedges. Didn't know of that one, thought you were on about an exhaust analyser.A Guyson E12 is a machine you don't really want . . . people who like E-type Jags, don't look it up
Never seen one, i guess that's a good thing, they're not exactly sleek are they!A Guyson E12 is a machine you don't really want . . . people who like E-type Jags, don't look it up
it is a cam equipmentI hope not too cheap, I'll turn green - that looks like a rebadged CAM equipment press. Proper (still british) made unit, pretty spendy new.
I'd swap my Chinese 30T for one in an instant. Nice score!
Suspect at 15 ton itll do a tad more than brake a finger….more likely squash it fully flat!
It does look British, that weld on the top left goes off to the right Luckily it has a thick coat of red paint and dirt to reinforce it.I hope not too cheap, I'll turn green - that looks like a rebadged CAM equipment press. Proper (still british) made unit, pretty spendy new.

Nice machine. Keep it well oiled in use, including the bobbin, manual at https://singerco.co.nz/support/manuals/View attachment 460148
A Singer model 201 sewing machine.
Serial number dates it to December 1937.
Not "industrial" but a quick experiment shows it will go through 4 thicknesses of webbing without an issue.
Various YouTube/websites are saying it will do a couple of layers of upholstery leather.
Certainly *much* better for my intended use (tool bags) than mums 1960s "dressmaking" machine.

old 50 years ago, sitting on the shelves.
