Not in the summer, they won't be.The stumps are that wet you could run a fish farm in each one

Different acquisitions today, the beginnings of a replacement for the nasty leylandii’s. Portuguese laurels,if these tolerate the shade where I want to plant them and start to flourish, then I’ll brave the £5.50 cost as it will run into the high hundreds.View attachment 482524
Oh,yes we have a bitch collie.Youve not got a dog have you? We had one of these taken out just before Christmas as it was mature, well-established and stood around 25-30ft tall but it berried every year and having got a puppy last August Mrs Browser looked them up and both the tree and berries contain cyanide, and our pup seemed to like eating the flippin' things, hence us having the tree taken down.
Getting the blade lock pin in the right place to change the blade can be awkward if you hands are cold ..take care putting the new blade in too ........keep skin away from the cutting edge ( guess how I know ?)i like my new knife.
feels solid in the hand and opens nicely. i was a fan of stanley fatmax folding knives, (these)
but ive had 2 now where part of the casting breaks off and makes it horrible to hold...
I'd give it a real think then, normal Laurel doesn't berry so would be safer.Oh,yes we have a bitch collie.
We chose it knowing the berries,we already have an old established laurel bush complete with berries which pre dates 3 previous dogs over a few decades,so considered it safe. Thanks anyway without this history,I wouldn’t have chosen this variety.I'd give it a real think then, normal Laurel doesn't berry so would be safer.
