Changed the plug and had a play with it, the bead breaker is not as powerful as the stand alone one I have but still does the job, the pedals are as you say and its got plenty of grunt. Chuffed

the bolt nearest the column sets the distance off the tire rim comes in handy when you dont want to mark aluminum rims

110v 1.5kva transformer and a 110v bosch die grinder for £20 today from a Facebook page, also got an old record 25 qr vice for £30 the other day, missing a jaw bolt if anyone knows what thread they are?

I was at an auction house, mostly junk. Well almost all junk.

All the good stuff had already had bids out of my pocket on them, or what was left was junk.

But one box seamed to be tucked away, forgotten.
Only a auction number on it. I asked and I was told this is the 4th time under the hammer. If it did not go this time it was for the scrap bin.

I bid, was out bided and bid again.
Got it.

But got what I hear the cry.

4 heavy brass hinges and a cute imperial socket set.



2 box's of small bearings, not sure what I will use them for. Roll off earth cable and a set of welding gloves.

But read on, there is more.




Unused drill bit sharpener, more workshop dust than work debris.

Plus, this.



Old and very heavy SIP 140 amp welder, auto dark mask and 2 box's of rods.
Yes I have the leads as well, I will show a picture if I am asked.
But a lead is a lead is a lead.


Finally, yes at last a set of CK pliers. I think they are a sett pliers. more in another post.

This was found sticking out of the ground.
The thread was steeped in oil, I was expecting to have to apply heat to free it. But a good heave with a 24mm spanner had it free.

It is now sat in a de rusting tank, or in the case an old ice cream container.

48 hours in de-rusting set up. Didn't need 48 hours, I forgot it was there.

Wiped down with a wax soaked rag. Now sat on bench.

There was a free shelf at uni - cleaning items for your flat, all short-dated (I mean can you believe it). Brasso was the last thing there, nobody knew what it was. Safe to say it will be going to a new home. I think the Brasso and Silvo we currently have are from my nana's house, old 1980s things - short dated, this stuff never goes off
