Got it going OK, and thought I'd import all the stuff [esp 'Contacts'] from my phone which also runs Android. It all went downhill from there, because Stupo here can't remember his GMail password[don't use GMail but they pressure you into opening an account on any Android device].
Will now have to get into 'settings' on pc and get Google to regurgitate the appropriate 'magic key'......
That aside, the tablet seems pretty good - I only got it to save humphing my 17" laptop with me when I'm away from home - I'm definitely getting old!!
Bought 1of those for the wife last week and for the money it's very good. It was to replace her old Lenovo tablet that's probably 3 years old as she had broken the USB charging port. TBF she is not very careful with her tech gadgets and seeing how many times she's walked off with it still attached to the charger lead I'm surprised it's lasted the 3 years.

Cost about £15-20 in diesel to go an get it.
Me and the wife got a few hours away from the kids and stopped off for lunch in a nice little pub. Van got a good run out to check for teething problems. Was a good day alround

When I lost the contract to buy all the second hand books from the charity shops, I'd already become friends with several of the managers.
I call and see them about once a month.
I have a standing arrangement that any rusty tools (which they're not allowed to sell because they're too tatty for the shop) go in a a box for me, rather than Inthe skip.
I also got a load of leather from some scrap sofas last week- and obviously the first refusal on the filing cabs (but I have to pay shop price for those!)
Tips to butter up the managers:
Tell them you'll pay, but they can put it through on whatever promotion they're doing to help them hit their targets - Eg, bhf is always trying to sell pins and stick on hearts. Marie Claire, the ribbon lapel badges.
Be prepared to collect at short notice "we have a regional manager visiting this afternoon, can you collect it now?" is not uncommon.

This morning I was woken up at 08:30, I was not best pleased.
"Oh. I wonder could be ringing my door bell with such vigour at this time of day"
it was Norbert, yes he is not dead.
How, yes we all wonder.
He was dumping box's on my door step.
Soon I was making coffee, as he moved box's from the front to the back.
This is some of the stuff.
2 buckets of spanners and a Bow saw. The spanners are a mixed lot. I do not know if any complete sets
A selection of chemicals, that is the full tins, there is twice as much more. All part used.
A random selection off stuff pulled from a box, a real mix match.
More random stuff.
The small box to the left holds a solar powered water pump, yes it is small. The bigger box is filled with abrasive paper.
The jerry can is ex MOD dated 1992, half full of what smells like paraffin.
More, the yell thing is a 2 speed air fan.
A alloy tool chest, full of random power packs, old car coils, there is another bag full of similar stuff.

He has rented a garage, this is what was left behind.

No he has not worked it out.

Have/had 2 of them I got when my Granddad died, searched for them a while back but couldn't find them. No idea where they have gone as I certainly wouldn't throw them out.
