Mrs TYA did not say anything as I brought the stuff in.
Should I worry?

But, this is the 2 biggest parts.

6" Bench grinder, no tool rest. But will not take much to make.

Then this.

Suffolk Engine, home made fuel tank and fly wheel.
There was a raft of paper work, all hand written notes on how the engine was altered to run on gas.

You can see the modification on the carb.

Oh yes ignore the SIF flux tin, that is new today as well.

Nice Selecta, I have the bigger brother, 7". I have seen a 10" one for sale before, and nice little slow-speed 4" ones for blade honing. Like the Wolf ones, you could get cast columns for them. Knowing your luck, you may just find one.

FS44 are a nice machine, I have a few brushcutters and line trimmers and have never had an issue with the 44....but the harnesses are a little poop, Have you had it running as they can be a stinker if they have had straight fuel in

starts easy runs fine just a slight lumpy on tick over but can easy live with that untill i can do ajustments / service will well do me i was hopefull as the bloke had that mixing tub and the instructions so must have had from new and if you got a mixing tub its hard to put the wrong fuel mix in

had them before that had just fuel in and it duffed the bores and melts the pison rings but a new set of rings and a clean with a fine wet and dry on the bore to clean the black off making sure you go round and round the bore not up and down generaly sorts it but unless its yours the cost of the parts dont make it worth it

Been looking for this, a pan to make "plättar", 10 euros. Went over it with an angle grinder and steel brushes for several hours, just started the re-seasoning process.

Handle says Munktells, which is short for Munktells Mekaniska Verkstad, it was a swedish company founded in 1832 and operated until 1932 when it merged with Bolinders Mekaniska Verkstad.

I think I am set WRT cast iron now. Next step is replacing my teflon pans and other coatings with carbon steel equivalents.

I think it goes pretty fast even with the big thick bottomed one (most used one of the lot), 20-30 seconds and stuff sizzles in it.

To a certain extent, it makes sense (To me at least) that a thicker one should heat up quicker.

Good news(I hope). Norbert has finally gone away.
He has dropped another load of "stuff" from his garage clear out.

I like a bargain, I like free stuff.
I suspect we all do.

This is the stuff I am keeping.

Some of the bags were rubbish, like 46kg of lead. That's all ready weighed in.

Yellow box is polishing mops etc, there is another load in another box. Black case holds a Draper soldering iron.


You can see the grinder, the black box is the drill sharpener. No idea what's in the yellow, blue, red and white box's. Yes there is the remains of a bit and brace, well 2.
I will have to sort.



No idea, yet, but one old Halfords 1960 battery charger, a clamp. brushless fans, air line and lots more.



No idea. Please ignore the white crashed Dalek. That's my rubbish, a dead smoke detector.

The engraver in one of those pics if it works is quite good from what i remember for last using one.

It's not 100% butter, perhaps that's it, butter with canola oil for easier spreading when cold. And this is some liquid formulation of it. But I usually buy the 100% butter in 500g blocks, my granddad taught me a trick when I was a kid, he used a cheese slicer on the butter. Always delivered the right amount of butter, just set it on the bread like it was a slice of cheese and eat.

Picked up a pair of 90 degree internal circlip pliers today for $3, Japan made but they feel good. Similar Asian import pliers cost over $40 each, so pretty pleased with that

The canola would make sense and of course reading the label was a challenge for me ;-)

I found Rye bread quite bitter and it needed sweet meat or syrup / jam to make it palatable so a slightly thicker 'slice' of butter would be better for me.
