My 1yo dropped a golf ball on my phone yesterday morning and destroyed the touchscreen. (Didn't even crack the screen.)
Using an old galaxy s2. Keyboard is very laggy and the predictive text isnt very intuitive.

I have seen on Youtube quite a lot of tool posts with replacement handles, I think I know why now.

Il machine a flat and drill and tap it for m8. Bit more strength and will locate better against a flat.

A beta side action grease gun and a dozen cartridges.

Not a bargain, paid with hard cash however it will be worth it's weight in gold when my mates comes around with his ageing JCB 803 digger to dig a few trenches, dig a huge pond in the field and tidy up behind the barn. You can guarantee that as soon as he brings it around, it will start to rain, it will be windy, he will throw a track, and he won't be able to find his grease gun to tension the tracks. And if he does find it, there will be no grease and the gun will be knackered, I've spent many a frustrating afternoon in the driving rain, ankle deep in mud swearing at JCBs so this is my attempt at head impending doom off at the pass. Last time he brought it around the injector pump sprung a leak so who knows what else may happen..........

Had a stall at yesterdays bootsale to raise funds for my wifes dog rescue group, and as a seller, had a wander round before the general public. Found the as new 1/8,1/4 and 3/8 bsp taps, new 5mm, used but good 6mm long series drills and the two centre drills all for a fiver.




Then found a stall where I got the 3 boxes of coarse, fine and small riffler files, the diamond hone and Dremel kit full of cutters, in a nice wooden box - all for £20.
Also on the same stall, a few G clamps-

All Record except the red one, but thats a heavy old Agrippa. The best bit, the whole lot for £20!!

I couldnt get away fast enough, but when I got home and looked what I had, to be honest, I feel a little bit guilty.
The two old ladies didn't know what they had.

Both of these cost me nothing. My tutor said he had some old figures and knows I like modelling - I didn’t know they’d be 1975 originals! The box is a lovely display item for my shelf, too.

To compliment this, an 8mm Alan key found in the road. Quite rusty though it’s stamped cr-v so perhaps a poorer mix than my trusty 70s Vitrex ones!

C spanners caught my eye. Bloke said take all 3 boxea for 15 so I did.
Nothing else of interest there today.

It might be a leather handled ammo box by the look of it.

A good day, free food(Had to have lunch with in laws, so a down side there)
Free beer, I was give 48 cans of Guinness for helping a neighbour and giving them some usable garden tools.
