Pulley will require attention too no doubt
Its been sleaved badly in the past so no hardship to do it properly.

Excuse the cabling. Wasnt expecting it to arrive till late next week. Il pick something up tomorrow.
Swapped to delta checked the settings and she fired up fine.
Quieter irl than in the video too.
Now to get it in the lathe.

Looking great but one thing I would say, always put some tape round the key or remove the key before spinning up a motor

Occurred to me when I watched the video back. :s long day and preoccupied.
Popped the shaft cover back on for subsequent tests. You left it setup ok only needed to adjust speed and amps.

Will see whats required to fit later.
Cant argue for £120 Delivered.

Ordered it Tuesday evening
Packaging was top notch too.
Boxed then into a box with 100mm plus clearance all around then packing peanuts in the voids.
Il give it a few months use and buy another identical for the mill.
No reason why I cant utilise the vfd for both then.

Regarding using the VFD for both mill and lathe then yes no probs as long as you are not trying to run both at the same time. I would probably fit a changeover switch in the power output line.

My thoughts exactly. Never gonna use both at the same time.
Will make a remote I can move to either machine and mount the vfd between the two.

Or you could likely make a remote panel on each machine, if you wanted to get really fancy you could fit a contactor for changing the power wires over and have that controlled from the panel.

So far no problems but it has only been about 6 months since the first one I replaced a motor on. Then again these things have water dripping on them so looking good so far.

Definitely if there surplus mate.
Hopefully buy another motor next month.

Will have a look in a bit, if I still have them then you can certainly get them as I only ever use 24VDC coil ones.
