drop your wallet on it?
Keep an eye out for a saw vice. I think Disston made them and Woden (Wednesbury) definitely did.

a long-dead fax machine - remember never throw anything away
What is the world coming to when you need training to use a pallet truck .
Heh. I decided to terrorise a friend with a fax machine he threw away. The thing kept 'reappearing' on his desk, til he finally threw it in a big skip. I saw him do it. I waited til he went home, retrieved it, and put it in his desk drawer. As it turned out he didn't use that drawer very much at all so about a week later I heard a scream and rushed to see the fax machine being thrown down onto the floor with the words motherf___r
He never found out it was me, and blamed someone else who swore innocence (and rightly so!)
Mine was fried by a power spike, Contents Insurance refused to pay out and Scottish Hydro refuted claim for a replacement, denying at first there's been a spike then later that even if there had been, it couldn't possibly have caused the frying.....
And remember, fax was Hi-Tech[ish] back then.
One time photocopying was even bond worthy (great scene btw, I still get nervous watching it)
Sorry to read about your mis-step? You have PM.
Those cabinets are ace! I have a 5-drawer one on the welding trolley and am currently watching this with a view to bidding

There's also this, but it's maybe getting a bit on the high side for where I'm planning putting it

Watch this space!
I have, erm, a few of those, rescued from the World's Best Skip, bloomin' marvellous when you've Too Many Tools (not, really, no such thing) - the pair of tall ones either side of the mill have lathe tools in one, mill cutters and collets, clamps the other and a few more under the "clean bench" - just the right height to prop the middle of the front, at 8 feet of lightish box section it would sag!
The double height drawers are good, but they always put 'em at the bottom so you have to bend for the heavy stuff...

Shame. They are niceWell, sadly this one's out. I messaged the Seller to ask if he'd wrap it 'sensibly' so that I could organise a Courier uplift,
