Not so much 'acquired', as received. A full discharge from the hospital Ophthalmology Consultant, doesn't need to see me again. Plus, I can discontinue the drops I've been putting in my 'compromised' eye for years.

Yeah you have to sharpen the tips and then scrape by hand. Takes a while but you’ll soon get the hang of it

And to all those naysayers who say you will never find parts.
My lathe came with 1 4" chuck.
All these are on backplates.
Still need to find jaws for one 3 jaw.

Definitely worth keeping. I found one invaluable the other day when getting a couple of tight chuck backplates to fit a spindle thread. I've had them for years & never used them upto that point, but they justified their place in the drawer that day.
The straight ones are external. Right angled ones internal.

Nice. I just aquired one very similarBought this lamp about a year ago from @MCKDAVID who kindly sent it to my cousin in Hampshire. Well today it finally came, goodness me it’s rusty! These lovolites are such good quality though. Will be perfect for the Bantam, cheers mate

Today I was again a few hundred miles from home. 3 1/2 drive to a site to explain to a customer that it is correct for the Emergency lights to come on when there is a power cut. Plus that some are illuminated all the time and why.
I also did not:
Use of more than 2 sibyls.
Long words.
Or punch him.
So I diverted on my way home.
A unknown make of Abrafile saw. There is a Patient number, I will try and find more details.
Old fashioned Road Work like, complete with a new-ish paraffin wick. I was not going to pay the asking price with a "As original" wick holder, for one simple reason. It did not work.
In Flame.
I have bean after one of theses for a while. But after Dr. Who and the episode "The Beast Below" the price went through the roof and decent ones became hard to find. Then there was trend to "Up-cycle" them and putting in electric lights.

I now have both types, the two arm model and the three arm. They’re tricky to find cheap.
I’ll do my switch modification on the new one too. Looks nicer than the factory switch.

that said, given your difficulties with vision, I think you'd be perfectly justified to hae a very large one, just so you can see it.... only 1 mind
