Now that's just silly! ^^^
No f’ing way!
It is mate, you wind the cross slide off and mount that in it’s place. And yep, there’s a drive plate for turning between centres. The fixed steady isn’t off one of these unfortunately, it was sold to me as a Harrison one but doesn’t fit the bed on this. I’ll adjust it to suit though. It is Harrison grey so perhaps off an older machine. No f’ing way!
A fixed steady!!!!!!!!
Also the boring table. Is that the type that screws on to the cross slide?

It’s an ex school machine, hasn’t done much work at all really. And yep, it’s been incredibly well speccedThat boring table is a seriously rare bit of kit.
Someone really splashed out on that lathe many years ago.
It’s a late model 11”, but they’ve upgraded to the three lever norton screwcutting box like the Harrison 140 has plus all the extras. Mental.

Pair of 6' Record 'Made in England' t bar sash clamps. Paid £60 for the pair which some folk may consider expensive but that's cheap for NI. previously I've paid £40 for one 38" flat bar clamp!

A 10 bar plastic gauge & a 7 bar brass gauge plus a load of fittings.
Records I’ve found go up to 2014, but apparently they didn’t supply for the 2014 season, so 2013 at the latest unless there’s another oracle? When were Cosworth engines last used in F1? Don’t think they’ve been used in the hybrid era, 2014 ish?
Been time travelling again??Records I’ve found go up to 2014, but apparently they didn’t supply for the 2014 season, so 2013 at the latest unless there’s another oracle?
Last outing was at Marussia in 2023, but they’re set to make a comeback in the 2021 season, potentially with Red Bull although nothing has been agreed and it would mean changes to F1 engine rules apparently.
Bloody phone more like fat fingersBeen time travelling again??
