Went over to near Ilkley for it.
It's very nice.
It has many drawers in it too.

Oh aye, and they're pretty much full of all sorts of wonderful things.

(That's a 12" vernier caliper btw)

Original owner worked on maintenance of Bank of England machinery.

Lovely, i always wanted a wooden cabinet like that for measuring tools.

Yeah thats the issue with them alright, and why i now use the digital ones as much as possible.

Digital ones are much more versatile. If you use a lathe or mill and want to make metric sized parts on an metal machine they are invaluable.
