Wossat?
As long as he works!
I assumed that Henry was wet & dry once. Then found out otherwise after sucking a few litres of rainwater out of a flooded car and Henry's magic purple smoke came out.
I think the wet & dry Henry has a blue base instead of red & has a float ball under the motor intake so that when the bucket fills with water it blocks off the intake to avoid sucking water into the motor.
Internally they have a different motor. The dry one blows the sucked in air up past the motor windings to cool them. So if you suck up water with it the moisture in the air will cause a dead short!
A wet vac motor keeps the sucked in air separate from the electrics & uses a separate fan to cool them.

Bargain
I bought a karcher wet and dry vac from b&q the other day , used it to suck contaminated fuel out of a couple of machines. Works well but did destroy the secondary filter.
They say wet but I don’t think they mean diesel

We had a titan one from screwfix and it used to suck oil up from the floor, lasted 10 years before it gave up

I suppose it would only be sensible to buy something with a multi fuel engine for burning that contaminated diesel. Say a 432 APC or similarSome of that Titan gear is poop though, my drill sharpener is made of chocolate

A
second launchpad.
Kids are loving it and I'm enjoying getting back into music too.
Not an impressive demo but gives you an idea what il be using it for.
Also use it to control the software and as a normal midi interface with notes arranged any way you like Inc chords on one key.
Funnily enough I was reading about using software to remap midi cc and note data to keystrokes via software.Always liked the look of those but unless the buttons can be remapped to hotkeys/shortcuts for other software to use it would really just be expensive pretty lights on my desk, I'm not particularly musical.![]()
