That was a rather stupid thing to do, surely a man of your Calibre knows that such an item made of plastic will break if driven over

My Cherry picker is on a 05 Iveco and if ime honest the van has a very poor Finnish regarding quality of interior and exterior fittings..i like the fact its a bolt on body but hate the fact it has a "Made In Spain" plate under the bonnet. Seems a fab engine but not the best van ive owned

A few years ago after a potentially life ending health scare and being almost but not quite housebound, my two adult kids bought me a subscription to Ancestry.co.uk. Surprisingly I found myself quite addicted to it, it's a fascinating detective story finding out who your ancestors were, where they came from and what they did. Almost all of mine were penniless peasants but that was fine, they were all honest toilers, some lived to a good age and many did not.
Cherokee Princesses?
It seems that there are quite a few people claiming descent from them and they're always Cherokee, never Shawnee, Shoshone, Crow or Blackfeet; perhaps all is not what they've been led to believe? One of the best pieces of advice I was given when starting my research was, don't believe everything the older members of your family tell you. They mean well but sometimes a mixture of Chinese whispers and "never let the facts spoil a good story" can distort the truth.

It's a workhorse. my only gripes with the fixtures and fittings is sliding door won't close and seat fully. Will sort with deadlock and a couple of hd bonnet clips to pull it in.. (Will make door bending nigh on impossible too) and no cupholder.

yea mine is the MK3 with the 6 speed 2.8...very nice motor and the turbo is always on boost just when its needed. Dont know what size feet you are but i am size 13 and my left foot constantly rubs on the steering down tube every time i clutch which annoys the muck out of me.

I’ve done several family histories, and in only one was the stories almost true, but with the truth being better than the story. A friend had a family story about an ancestor losing their hair in a firework accident. True story was them almost blowing up a tenement in the high Street of Edinburgh while making fireworks, and several lives being lost, but many more being saved in brave acts of valour. Ripping stuff.

Haven't notice the coulum at all.
2.3 5 speed here but goes like stink. As you say always plenty of boost throughout the rev range.

I actually rolled the car forward and heard the crunch. I did this to the power socket in the middle of the workshop so had to use one on the wrong side of the car and the welder was too far away from where I was working and didn’t want the car outside in the rain to turn it around

After some “electrical treatment”
2 pairs of dead sexy LED and USB rechargeable cycle lights that are destined to be "Oh, b****r, it's too dark to park here overnight but if I leave the side lights on all night the batteries will be flat in the morning, best deploy the clamp-on marker lamps...", and a lovely little tippy tappy 4oz ball pein hammer that one of the Scania monkeys left on the bottom step of the truck after servicing.

Have a similar set of lights in the door pocket for similar such occasions. Tend to angle them down to the road a little as they’re fairly bloody bright, but..touch wood, haven’t had anyone run into the unit or trailer overnight yet.
