May lad used to got to beavers and they had 3 steel cabinets outside stacked on top of one another, I asked what they were doing with them and 30 minutes later they were lined up neatly in my garage!!!! Bonus!

Just parked for the night at Pease Pottage services on the M23 down near Crawley, went in to pay and asked the bright young thing my usual question: "Eyup love, any discount for a good looking Yorkshireman??" She looked round before telling me that her Dad's a Yorkshireman and he always embarrasses her by asking for discount wherever they go, and he's a great one for giving folk the "Yorkshire Warcry".

I was taking my mother up the motorway years ago, stopped for a comfort stop. Mother decides she wants a cuppa & a bun. I tried explaining not a good idea, it’ll empty your purse. A young lad on the till gave the price, mother visibly paled & I said to the lad on the till “you post the share certificate on do you?” He looked totally confused so I said “I thought I’d bought shares in the place” he was not amused.
