yup 2 of mine are conected with one pressure switch and run through contactors .one of them has a 4 second delay timer fittedThey could all be controlled by one pressure switch and operate as one big unit.
You'd probably need to use a relay as ordinary pressure switches probably couldn't cope with the current of three compressors but that's easy enough. Slightly staggered starts might be needed, depending on the supply available. Three compressors each cutting in at the exact same moment take a lot of power, but I'm sure this is also very easily sorted.
not if u only have single phase supply the max motor size would be 4hp on most comps 5hp max providing it isnt getting stopped and startedWouldn't it be cheaper and easier to buy one real compressor than 3 baby ones?
yea use this 90 cfm a bit of an overkill for airtools thoughWouldn't it be cheaper and easier to buy one real compressor than 3 baby ones?
the twin pump set up only uses the one pressure switch with a timer fitted . i bought it for 60 quid and someone had chopped all the wiring out. one motor faulty and replaced and i wired it back up and it works fine i think there over a grand in machine martYeah single phase is an issue, so only option is to couple together 3hp compressors....
Brightspark, do all tandem machines operate as yours does with a time delayed system as opposed to a pressure dependant switch on?
