I wouldnt imagine a worn tyre has enough meat for regrooving? Is the carcass that thick before the cords?
Thicker it is, the more heat, so I cant imagine truck tyres being designed for it unless its retreaded...?
Sod cutting bike tyres, hardly anything between the tread and cord. Im quite happy riding some rears until the cords showing but thats different!
No, there isn't, and tbh once you get to the wear markers you're on the structural layer of rubber - it looks about the same but it's much harder, stiffer and slippery af in the wet as it barely has any hysteris, it's the layer you often see have microcracks in it in the bottom of tread grooves because it's so much stiffer than the usable compound.
