I used to get the same issue until I upgraded my compressor and pipeline. I now have a long length of 22mm copper pipe (approx 20m) To my most used drop leg. Have a couple of drops before that but not used much. Put ball valve drains on all the legs. This goes a long way to getting the moisture out as it allows time for the air to cool and release its moisture. The uppy downy pipe is a great space saving idea though, just make sure you size the pipe correctly allowing for number of bends etc. Metal pipe better than plastic as it conducts heat more.
