Have you driven one? The handling is errm, interesting. That boat anchor up front is quite a pendulum!
The Scimitar was designed to take it from day one and was fitted further back. The Capri was an afterthought and I am not convinced that it was their finest hour, compared to the smaller engined cars.

I had a 2.0S auto!
Loved it but the brakes were erm interesting...
I have been in a 3 litre Capri, in the back seat at very illegal speeds on the A40 elevated section into London, I don't know what pipes he had on it but it sounded lovely.
