I think it is just the Parweld website shows the older version and designates it XTT202P where @Tom Orrow L website is showing the newer version and he is calling it XTT202 Pulse.

There’s a definite difference as one has the connections half way up the machine and the other has them at the bottom, so even if one of them does just have a new dress on something internally is different?

Same machine, just had a facelift. Think I mentioned it on another thread somewhere else. Still made by WTL? With the same internals etc.. Parweld have been doing it to their whole range.

Well it depends. Does a cheaper welder stick two bits of metal together? Sure.
If you ever use something like an EWM to actually make money with, however, or if you just want a high end machine, then you won't feel like they're overpriced at all.

I have a Red EWM and a White EWM but both are Phoenix Migs.
One day I may have a high end Tig but for now I will just have to settle for the Stealth 320.
Think my mate has exactly the same picomig as I have but his has pulse and a bit newer.
He paid much more for his than I did mine though and I had a bargain with mine

I am kind of torn over what to do, I really fancy a higher end Tig in the future but 200Amp is just on the small side for me but going to a higher current machine and the price rockets up. Better wait and see what happens with the ongoing political saga and see how things pan out for the fishing industry as sadly I think it may take a big hit.

I would never have bought this based in its price if I hadn’t had good experiences with EWM with my mig - it was well expensive in my opinion.
All tigs seem expensive no matter what level of current you look at. All in my opinion of course.
Just have to keep an eye on eBay for the bargains lol

Really too bulky for me and also a bit too far away as I wouldn't really consider something of that price unless I could test it out. I have heard the guy is straight enough but .....There's a current model Lorch T250 on ebay atm for not a bad price, if you're interested
I think if I was going for one it would be new so unlikely to be buying for a while as I have only had the Phoenix 355 for less than a year and that was a big spend, nearly 3x what I have paid for the most expensive car I have ever owned
