Overall length of vertical 13"
Have you allowed for the tyre height ? In your calculations?

Estimate it from the rim diameter of 16" ?
Yes and the vertical is approximately 1/2 way up the rim, to the centre cap of the hub bearing, ( that’s why I cropped the image) including the tyre. Or have you used a different method to calculate? No.

I was looking for a husky. I have a h14 I’ve converted to hydraulic at the moment, overkill and terribly slow but won’t stop for man nor beast, was considering ditching it for a husky electric@Robotstar5 thats a lovely rangie in the pic man
Im just commenting here to express interest in the Fairey chocks, I've just finished a Superwinch Husky install and I need a set of chocks, and the Fairey ones are the most serious ones I've seen. Might build a set if there are plans or guidelines available. Even ones that dont fold.... just something that works.

Fixed itI prefer an anchor over chocks, as much as I do like the fairey chocks. A pin and plate style ground anchor tied to the rear willsort most winching problemsfind any weakness in the chassis
