Working outside - anyone have a heated work surface?

I have a 270,000 btu gas space heater till 11 am than iam fine after that not sure why but I only feel cold Inthe mornings

Warm feet for me, used to warm my boots with a hair dryer now use boot heaters very popular with forrestry workers +1 for Thinsulate headwear.

I have 4 set up above my bench. 2 have 250w bulbs and 2 have 175w high efficiency bulbs that give the equivalent of 250w (allegedly). So 850W in total. 0.85 units per hour of electricity. Workpieces on my bench were at 17 degrees yesterday. The ambient temperature in the garage was 7 degrees.

Did you get the chain from Mole Valley as well? Or can say what size is needed. Do you attach it to the holder with threaded u bolt? Just wondering if I can order everything needed from them.
