I'm a newbie to the forum
Over the last year I've been putting together a workshop and collection of tools and wanted to get a decent Tool Chest, Vice and Bench Drill Press.
Firstly I picked up a Beta C39 G/8 tool chest and cannot fault it, although it is full already.
After a good few weeks of researching Vices, I came to the decision to contact Swindens Vices and spoke to a really nice man called Anthony.
I wanted either a 4" to 6" vice and after hearing the price of the 4", didn't dare ask the price of the 6".
The 4" hasn't yet been delivered but I'm expecting this
I began looking at the wide range of Drill presses and researched them and reviews written by users.
I wanted something around 550watts, made in the UK if possible and well reviewed.
The range by Chester Hobby machines caught my eye and their price wasn't too strong, so I ordered their D19 drill press.
Once I began using it I decided I could install a light into the body and wire it into the existing electrics.
For the time being until I get a full size work bench in adapting the tool chest to house the vice.
Here's how it's been going
