I had the rev1 MR2 which had the "lively" handling. In the wet it was a very touchy car to drive...I spun the rear out a few times on wet roundabouts I can tell you...just driving normally and touching the accelerator at the wrong moment!
But a great car...I definitely learned how to handle rwd in that thing....no electric trickery back then so it was car and skill only.
These days they drive themselves...fun has gone for sure.
