What temperature did you spray the epoxy at? Did you pre-heat the bonnet?

I had the diesel heater and mulitfuel stove on in the adjoining room with door open for about 5hrs before spraying but not sure what the temp would have been.
No. I heated the epoxy in the microwave for a bit though.

I started sanding the bonnet down for it's second layer of epoxy but didn't have much time. Will continue on the weekend.

What grade of sofa did you use?

Thanks. The gel is Deox Gel; https://bilthamber.com/product/deox-gel/
It works best if you give it a good scrub with a wire brush every hour or so if you can. It works well but takes a bit of time.

Forgot about those carb pics until I was tidying up today....... these look any use to you? Look crusty but pistons slide up and down nicely. thought I had the manifold too but no luck with that.

Thanks, forgot about these as well. Plan now is to go back to standard first up and will then do a fuel injection and electronic ignition conversion. Converting my 142 at the moment so the Amazon will be the same is the plan. Made up a fuel rail.

Interested to see you have put the injectors into the head rather than into the manifold. It would be interesting to know your reasoning for that. My guess is it is more difficult to do.
