Little stainless jobs

Now that I have just about retired from proper paying work, I've been messing about with daft jobs just to keep my hand in,
I was asked to make a stainless spider so here it is, for scale the three nuts are M10, M16, and M20

Then I was asked to do a dog, nuts are M16, legs are M6

Then got asked to produce a few of them, I tried the natural method without much success

So had to make a litter with the welder

This one needs a bit of training!

Then had to make these on the instructions of the boss, cant take credit for the lettering design its from a member on here but cant remember who, Sorry.
They are for wedding anniversary keepsakes for our sons and daughters in law, all from 5mm dia stainless

And then an elephant was mentioned by someone, so came up with this

You need to add a couple of M2 for the mutt's nuts if you want that to work.

A couple more daft bits I was asked if I could make, one made from M8 nuts, the other from 3/8" ball bearings, all stainless of course.

Yeah, I was wondering how to phrase that! But it's the quality of the work that shines.

I knew someone would ask that,
One of my regular jobs for many years is refurbishing the rotating hubs from commercial pan and dishwashers, the service kit has a new set of bearings, but there is rarely much wrong with the old ones, as I cant bring myself to throw them away I have hundreds, probably thousands of the things.

it is a couple of metal rings and a little bag full of ball bearings?


I've got two vacuum filling machines at work that use those.... £600 a time... for 2 metal rings and a bag of ball bearings.... drives me right up the wall :-o
