Have you got a bespoke tool for bevelling the edges after the tube sched pipe is cut?

I have got a tool for doing the edges of pipe, I made it up as one of the first projects on the milling machine. It didn't work as well as I wanted though.
To be honest the lad who works for me doing the preps is pretty much bang on now, its a very important thing, and something we played around with for months, but now he turns out 95% perfect preps every time.

Of course, my mates rates are RRP, RRP plus 10% if they want to watch, and RRP plus 20% if they want to help What Evo do you have out of interest, we have some manifolds on the shelf, i'm probably going to trade on MLR next year and shift a few of them at a reduced cost.

Yes if its a race car we'll use inconel. Normally stick to thick wall stainless for road going cars though.

So Rick, What pipe do you use? By thick wall you dont meen 1.5mm do you!
Im a little confused as they dont look like mandrel bends eigther.

It's thick wall stainless steel, its over 3mm in thickness, its a custom stainless we get made for our manifolds now.

How's it differ from off the shelf sch40 elbows then? Diameter/bore? Given the wall thickness i'm guessing it's still 304 or 316?

I wouldn't like to say to be honest as it cost us time and money and the company now offer them "off the shelf" but gave us a huge buy in and we paid for the casting etc.

We still use off the shelf elbows when we can to keep the cost down.
