4:1 'ish mix, sharp sand / OPC wetted with an integral waterproofer mix at 20:1.

I'll put the printed end cap on with a bed of quick setting, SBR laden mix after scraping the top of any laitance.

Or just print a deeper end cap and silicone on.....

Scuffed the top up and poured in some 4:1 mix made with just SBR. Had to fish a bit out to get the end cap on. Gave it a twist to level the concrete.

The plan is to let it set and whip the end cap off. Then to seal with silicone.

One slight issue is the big pvc pipe is slightly distorted:

I used too the cruciform former so that's a bit weird.

Trouble is the mix is a bit sticky. Catch 22 tbh. If I pull the end cap off it it'll ruche up the surface. When dry I won't get the end cap back on.

Need to find some timber next for the frame. Scaffold boards lined with stainless steel sheet I think, at least between the scratting wheel and "grinding" face. I knew that old microwave case would come in handy one day!

I was thinking leave it a day or so then try and lift the end cap off to let the air get to it.

put cap on and drill some holes to let the water escape as there an easy fill up

otherwise its make a round ring out of 1/4" or 3/8s plywood and put holes in that so it dries out

a plywood round is good enough to get the cement round better

then put your cap on when it sets

Plastic shopping bag between them, it will *stick to the bag and the cap will come off easy.

*Nothing sticks to LDPE shopping bags.
