Many MOT garages are not averse to doing high price patch job bodges! After all £100-150 for patching a sill is pretty easy money.
still the same as far as ive seen , they just have a goBack in the 60s when I was an apprentice (there were loads of us) all different trades, I'm nearly sure that welding was only taught to panel beaters and that most mechanics picked it up on the way, I don't think I've come across a mechanic that doesn't weld, Things might have changed now though, maybe that young Doubleboost could shed some light on it

Thinking making tea and instruction on how to sweep up, are the main things covered in "apprenticeships" today................lol
When I cut it all out I found it had 3 sills fitted! An aftermarket full sill then 2 skin sills! This explained why the door was rubbing on the sill!
I made a cup of tea just before tea break (as you do)still an apprentice and an ever so stroppy Gaffa (foreman)said WHO'S TEAS THAT. Ringtons was the reply to which there was no reply.Thinking making tea and instruction on how to sweep up, are the main things covered in "apprenticeships" today................lol
i've never actualy seen what i would call a well made trike, at best they are usally questionable rangeing all the way down tot he point youd rather be run over by it than try and ride on it.
the odd thing is most people who ride trikes do it because they've allready had one really big accident so you'd think they be quite keen not to encorage another. tho they do also tend to the most confident in there skills but actualy the most lacking .... that proably explains the state of siad trikes and the reason for them in the first place
