Received an email from Bambu this afternoon offering 8 quid credit against future purchases due to the "delay" in delivery.

All part of the grand Chinese plan to lure us in to buying their kit, then they switch the backup and spares off! There'll be swathes of dead EVs, PV setups and erm...3D printers.

Then a firmware update turns all the devices into killer robots.....

I am back onto this . I need to get it finished today.

I tried to follow the screen shots but failed miserably.
This is where I am at but I cant fill the center of the cup. I can extrude the outside part but I cant fill the centre piece.

Simplest way is to create a new sketch on the face and that will "fill" the areas, you can then simply extrude those, just make sure the sketch is still visible. I've done a version and put the file in your drop box folder.

If you only want one section filled, right click the extrude function in the timeline, click edit, then whilst holding ctrl you can select/deselect areas of the sketch to extrude.

I think I have done it. I dont have a clue how but I am going to test print it now. Just got to figure out how to add text to it....lol

When you extrude the base, select "New body" rather than "join". That way you can colour it independently if you choose. I had all that hassle designing the Linear regulator model shown previously, I couldn't work out at first why I could only have a single colour.

Same for me - I ordered an x1c, it didn't take more than a few days to arrive though, and they've given me a £16 credit. It was already cheaper than normal because of the Black Friday thing (although I suspect they have some sort of offer most of the year).

Just got to figure out how to add text to it...

Go to Construct.. Offset Plane and draw a new plane a suitable distance away from the face you want the text on:

Go to Create, New Sketch and click on the new offset plane you just created. Go to Create... Text and type your text in, adjust size and position:

You should end up with this:

Than go to Create.. Emboss and select the text as your Sketch Profile, and the face of the cup as your Face in the dialog box - you can either emboss or 'deboss' depending whether you want the lettering proud or indented. I'm not sure exactly how Bambu then treats this - my guess is that you emboss by just a small amount (say 1mm) so it is then easy to paint it a different colour in the Bambu slicer

Actually, thinking about it, you'll be working on the horizontal plane, so by embossing your text and then colouring it means that your top few layers will just be in the text colour, therefore only one filament change. If you have coloured 'debossed' sunken text you'd have a lot of colour changes in the last few layers and waste a load of filament in all the purging it does. That's my guess anyway.

If I had much hair it would all be gone by now. such a simple things and at every turn there are obstacles.
getting quite close . Not exactly what I envisaged BUT with all the info I have now I can at least learn from it all at a slower pace if I can get this model printable.

My lad took a rough, hand drawn, 2D sketch, scanned it, imported into Fusion then "wrapped" it around a 102mm dia cylinder to make this stencil. The stencil fell over a bit during printing but fine for what I want it for:

I know things have moved on, but the answer to this is that (by default) F360 hides the sketch after you've used it for an extrude. You want to use the same sketch to extrude the centre, so you need to locate the sketch (in the tree on the left of the screen) and make it visible again - Click the 'crossed out eye':

You would then be able to do another extrude, using just the inner part - extrude as a new body.

In the example I downloaded, the fill was total and I had to EDIT FEATURE to take it down to a 3mm base.
