Well it looks like it's nit moved yet. Lol
But it's not just evri. I have a Royal Mail 24 due today but it was tracked to be here between 8.42 and 12.42.
Now it's anytime before 7pm.
looks like the one from China is going to beat the one from the UK. .Lolsame delivery company. Purchased a day later than the parcel sent by on Off.

I've looked on the ex Evri site, seems to be a "if you haven't received your parcel within 7 days" get back to them thing.

Continuing the WORX to old style Makita. The process is similar but in some respects a tad more taxing than the Ferrex to DeWalt. Made a bit less daunting of course by having done that one.
Up in the Makita tower are two cells originally. The battery clip had two spot welds on each cell, harder to get off than on the DeWalt. The battery clip fits tight in the original, grey tower but the cells have clearance around them. There's also a 1mm step on the underside of the connector. I modelled the replacement section for the two cells as a figure of 8 and got the height by careful measurement. With the printed tower section I slipped the battery connector into the tower held upside down, then dropped the replacement section in to engage with the battery connector. A big dollop of Super Glue on the bottom of the replacement section, I then lowered the printed base down onto it. Everything lined up and it allowed me to measure and transfer this to the model to accurately place the section inside the tower.

Battery blades next, modify the tower with channels to take the new wires. Then a full test print.

Would you like a supply of battery connecters off the old makita batteries to incorporate into your adaptors?
As I said I have a lot of old makita batteries maybe 20 or more and they're heading for recycling soon, be good to see them being useful.
I'll harvest any good nicad and nimh cells and scrap the rest.

Yes please. I've personally no requirement but if people have an need I like to try and make an adapter. Like my 80 year old neighbour. Trying to finish his, well let's just say time is of the essence!
