I thought that limited you to 10KM a week or a 1.5 mile radius? You can register almost any truck AG which is still MOT and tax exempt, same as the unimogs and can be driven on a car license.

Well maybe not *meant to* but it's certainly a technique I've seen deployed a fair bit with those doing relatively long distances on tarmac , horrible things!Whats one of them
Erm not quite a good cross country drive sorted windup

Can you use it laden? It gets a bit confusing, the restrictions you mention apply to normally registered trucks used on the road between land owned. Once Ag registered all the truck/olicense/plating etc dont apply because it becomes an agricultural tractor/machine, only downside is no use of motorways, I have several ag registered trucks and they can all legally move about on the roads and be driven on a car license.

Now thinking about a DAF 4x4!!!
Either register it as a 7.5T with tacho exemption which gives me a 1.5T load capacity and unrestricted use or as an Agricultural tractor so no tax or MOT required but unsure whether I can use it laden.
Which ever way I register it my son could drive it.
And the DAF has air brakes, a heater, power steering and a sleeper cab?
good fun thoseTry a green goddess half full of water, turn here... I did sir!

Just grasp your ankles firmly when enquiring a price for any partsMate has a unimog, it's a beast off road!
He bought it to use as a cattle tug, apparently Merc parts are cheaper than Fastrac bits...Just grasp your ankles firmly when enquiring a price for any parts
