verry good but no a chemical company supplies them for me along with waterproof jackets to keep me warm and even tools but they dont know about it
the jackets have company names on them but when the firm gets taken over they bin the gear and supply the lads with the new ones with the new logo on em. i got 20 pairs of overalls with central electricity generating board on them 2 quid each because firm changed name to nuclear electric and lads sold them all at car bootiesThey could well do now
They can't legally do that, they HAVE to provide you with suitable PPE regardless of cost, else they are breaking the law, end of story.DM have a factory outlet shop in wollaston northants boots can be had for 30-£35.Choice is limited tho.
Looks like thats where I am going as work give me 35 a year for boots and my old one now stink.

I ordered my new boots on the 10th of April. On the 14th I got an email saying they hope to despatch them in ten days.
On the 24th I sent an email asking when I was going to get them. I got a reply the same day saying they would check on the progress and get back to me. Still not heard anything......
Jeez, that stirs a memory.Buy boots from here and the soles will out last the uppers http://www.clogs.co.uk/ they take a bit of getting used to but they're great especially in winter.
DoneNo idea why the pictures upside down! Can it be rotated? Cheers, pete
dopBoots arrived today twenty days after ordering. Look ok so far. Whether or not they're worth 85 quid depends on how they last. Leather looks ok - about the same thickness as my old hogs boots. The padding around the ankle is a bit weird, not the same as the picture on their website which shows normal ankle padding. This is more like the cuffs on a bomber jacket! Soles look decent enough. Now starts the long process of making them my own.
wheres the right hand boot u havent pinched a display one have uThank you!

wheres the right hand boot u havent pinched a display one have u
great providing itshe has one leg
i sugest u rub a bit of leather oil on them every day it keeps the leather soft and they last twice as longI've been looking for toe-cap protectors and toe-cap repair kits. I can find them in the US, but postage rules them out.
Every pair of steelies I've had in the past 20 years has lost the leather over the toe-cap sooner rather than later, and it then becomes a leaky boot.
