Stotl. All I'll say is German Para Boots.
lot of lads on the bike scene swear by em, they seem to keep the wet out when worn on the bike with dubbin etc (no good usually in the cuds cos the wet grass just takes the dubbin off I've found). No good for skotl tho as they don't have steel tootsie tectors.Stotl. Only used dubbin once. Never again. Nixwax is a much better product,
Hello there. I found this thread only today and was looking forward to your verdict on these boots. However, it never came. Please, let's have it. I'm considering buying a similar pair. Also, do you recommend a polish for them? Thank you.Boots arrived today twenty days after ordering. Look ok so far. Whether or not they're worth 85 quid depends on how they last. Leather looks ok - about the same thickness as my old hogs boots. The padding around the ankle is a bit weird, not the same as the picture on their website which shows normal ankle padding. This is more like the cuffs on a bomber jacket! Soles look decent enough. Now starts the long process of making them my own.

Only used dubbin once. Never again. Nixwax is a much better product, although these days I heat boot polish until liquid applying with an old toothbrush, and left to dry, I might polish when afterwards. I rarely get water in
i got these

there comfortable for the moment but i hate steel toe caps every pair ive had ive got rid of in days these ive had no choice in getting them and wearing them
as im not used to them they are rubbing a little at heel and also on the top near the lace area well sealed by an internal lace bar so water has to reach over the last 2 rungs of lace to get into boot
other than that a comfy pair warm at the moment not hit winter yet
They look interesting. But I need steel toecaps and still prefer slip-ons for waterproofedness
Tbh most work wear in this country seems pretty awful in comparison to whats available in the states
Or Scandinavia - cracking boots and cold weather gear.. knocks spots off anything from the UK
