What lathe do you haveThat lamp is the same as my colchester triumph. You've done a grand job on that lathe - maybe I need to try to persuade you to tackle mine, it's only slightly worn.

Thanks dobbslc. I will be 100 percent truthful here. All i use is a combination of files. Most of the parts i file in to shape. I use different wire wheels. Then on things like shafts I use between 600 and 1200 grit paper to take any blemishes out.Great work Spencer!
This lathe looks better than new I think.
I can't understand how do you can make battered parts like those lock nuts come up looking almost new?
