USED SOME TAILGATE RUBBER SEAL
found an old steel shelf cut out the opening for the glass and it's looking good. not easy to see but the glass is in the frame. it just needs a strip of foam between the frame and the glass and a peice of plastic between the glass and the rubber then a couple of captive bolts and wing nuts. i may put a piano hinge accross the top edge
:QUOTE=atconut;208118]i've got a big dust extractor it's like a big hoover but it's a propper dust extractor
it's hard to see so heres a pic with the frame propped up there is a sheet of plastic under the glass
next job is to mount a pressure pot underneath with a big ball valve in the bottom of the cabinet to let the grit return to the pot but i was thinking about some safetey device to prevent opening the ball valve while there was pressure in the pot that would be messy
Could use a pneumatic valve to release the pressure when you're not stood on the operating pedal. Like this one

I've used a similar system for the dead man handle on my blast pot.
That could waste a lot of air.
I've fixed a ball valve on my pot so that the handle obstructs the filler on the pot when closed. You have to open the valve before you can take the top off. Maybe you can do something similar.
.............. by the way i was wondering would a gate valve be better for metering the grit at the bottom of the pot rather than a ball valve?
as rtb says use a ball valve it can be regulated a lot faster than a gate valve especialy if it blocks . thats all i use. my 1st pot i made the metering valve copied of the clemco minipot. quite time consuming and no more acurate at metering the grit than the ball valve keep it simple
