a question. how do u sieve the large particals out of the used grit and also sieve out the fine dust before re use of abrasive ?

i've not done it yet but i'm going to put a mesh pannel in the bottom of the cabinet so i can lift it out. thats my plan but i'm still working on that one. i've tried it and the lever to meter the grit works well but i need a scale at the side of it to acuratly set the lever. i'm going to give it a shot as it is but i think i'll end up changing the top ball valve for a bigger one

what u will find is initialy when the air is cold and u start blasting it will be dificult to regulate .even harder using the extended lever .i leave the water seperator drain off slightly open .when the pipes warm up shut the seperator drain off then away u go it will be more consistent and easier to regulate on your extended lever. i had a large 104 lb gas bottle pot .it would blast 10 car wheels without a refill and once warm and regulated would run all day without altering anything using new grit .if re using it had to be sieved getting the large particals out then fine sieved to get the dust and broken down grit out . otherwise u just start hurtling sh ..//..t out it wont be consistent and be prone to blockages dampness ect ect

I've not fitted any means of clamping it but i've made the lever stiff so it wont move once in the correct place. The long lever takes out all the guess work. With a scale at the side of it i can set it the same every time. That was hard to do with the short lever on a ball valve . Not only that i don't have to reach down to the floor every time i need to adjust or stop the grit flow my dodgy hip dosent like it. Don't forget this is all trial and error it will take a while to perfect it and input and advice from you guys realy is important

just got some j.blast and had a mess about. it's working very well 
the lever for the flow of grit works great now i've put a bar at the side of it to use as a scale. i'm using a 3mm nozzle at about 80psi. i must say i don't think j.blast is as good as aluminum oxide but for the money it's good enough. i was wurried about the size of the pot but i was amazed when it took a full bag well not quite about a pint short of a bag. so it will be enough for anything i want to put in the cabinet. not done yet though still a few little jobs to do
