I will do but I still want some recompense.
It could have been sent courier for £20 but he’s charged £65 for a 1/4pallet
So £65 to get it broken

How was it packed?
I always maintain packing or lack of it causes most breakages. Not always of course but most of the time. Then again if it was dropped from the top of a double decked trailer you have no chance!
The little Unimat lathe I just bought was the best packed thing I have EVER seen. I should have taken photos as I opened the box.
