Very nice. I picked 2x 2’ high squares off ebay about 10yrs ago. He messed up and put £40 buy it now, instead of starting bid..

cast aluminium with a steel face with tee slot, so not as nice as yours. But easier to pickup

Are they cost effective to sell, then? I couldn't justify it, I don't have the need... but someone surely will!

Thanks If you compare mine to Taft pierce at many thousands of pounds they’re very very cost effective even taking scraping time into account.

For the diy market compared to what Richard King charged for straight edges mine are cheap but for most of us who scout out used stuff for peanuts I’m in trouble

Yes very useful for setting up, they live on top of the cupboards. Wouldn’t fancy hoyking yours up there

@MattH lent me back a couple of Swiss straight edges I sold to him.
I built up with pattern wax and got the foundry to cast in alloy some patterns for future use. I’ve modified the 500mm for dovetail bevel.
Casting will need major fettling as Wyler didn’t do as nice castings!
