I love this thread! Ive been perving on these straight edges for ages now brilliant work!! I keep a windley brothers straight edge above my fireplace (protected in wax) if I had a decent fireplace it would be better obviously!

I might have a chunk of stellite 100 somewhere. You could braze it onto a piece of steel square stock and it would probably make a dandy planing tool.

Got my new camelback from Pressbrake at home now. Here it is just after finished planing the bevel last night:

Going to get it scraped and painted over the break. Many thanks to Pressbrake for getting this cast and planed for me. This size bevel straight edge is impossible to find.
