I had a Siamese crossed with a moggy when I was younger, he was very territorial with other male cats, dogs,but scared of next doors rabbit even though he was fed raw rabbit every week. He was very friendly with a Siamese female that lived a few doors down, even though he'd had the "snip".

what are they like with the other cats, we’re looking at getting a little friend for our cat

We have a Tonkinese (half Siamese half Burmese) and a tabby, the Tonkinese is more intelligent, vocal, demanding but tolerates our tabby, occasionally one will have a paw at the other as they pass, though they never fight.

I'm not really sure tbh, these 2 are fine with the tabby though.

Over a period of months last year I befriended a feral cat. Everyone, including the vet we've used for years, said that you can't domesticate a feral. However as anyone who's had anything to do with cats knows, rules are for other mammals.

A year on and he lives indoors and follows me round like a dog although he's still quite aggressive and has become quite possessive of me. We have to warn visitors to leave him alone, given his size and general demeanour they tend to pay heed so no incidents beyond a warning hiss.

At his vet check up (getting him in the travel cage required welding gauntlets!) he was chipped, vaccinated etc. They weighed him and he's a couple of pounds over a stone in weight, an absolute unit to use the vernacular. You can gauge the scale from the pictures of him on my lap, I'm not a small person.

my aunt had a spaniel size black feral cat, not one of the family could go near it

my dad was the only person to stroke it and it lived with them for 18years

My uncle has a mancoon that thing is a monster, her paws are the size of 4 of my fingers and she’s only 16months old

Local cat rescue provided a cage, leather gauntlets and instructions not to touch, not to look at and definitely not get Errol the feral out of the cage once he was in it when he came to stay for a while . . . Not for nothing was I known as a pussy magnet at Uni . . . he was soon out of the cage and on my lap eating tit-bits.

He never went in back in the cage or back or back to the rescue, and was a very loving cat - used to look after all the other rescue cats coming through being fostered . . . came to see me in the garden one saturday afternoon . . .wandered off and never came back. Still double check all the local facebook notices of "anyone lost a cat" several years later.

I purposely taught my kitten not to attack my hand if I touch his belly

he will let me stroke him for hours as he purrs

Iv also taught him to sit and give me his paw. I can WhatsApp a video for anyone that disbelieves it
