Strange thing last week. About 10pm cat decides to jump up on the sink, straddle the bowl and starts licking the tap.
Most unusual, she never goes on the worktops. Turned out her water bowl was empty. I always thought cats were daft, I underestimated her.

He'll drink out of the bathroom sink or bath or running water but never the bowl

Our 2 were the same, would drink green water outside, bought a cat fountain and they both use it every day.

I buy a pack of 10 cheaper filters and change them every couple of months and wash it out once a week.

I'm not really sure tbh, these 2 are fine with the tabby though.
