My 16 year old has taken to going out through the night, getting soaked and then coming back in, jumping on the bed then lying with her body round my neck and wet paws on my chest to dry off.My 19 year old cat is now waking me up at 5 in the morning with that wonderful sound of full volume upchucking, aimed directly onto the nice new rug next to the bed. Closely followed by 10 minutes of constantly shouting “me, me, me…” because he now feels better, is now obviously starving, and needs feeding right now.
Then comes the “I don’t want that meat, I want that other stuff, oh wait, it’s over there….no, where am I? Oh, food, yum. What do you mean I’ve just eaten! Who are you, and why isn’t the heating on!”
The joys of caring for a decrepit, demented, deaf, disgruntled, old cat.

Is that like an auto lawnmower for cat tummy fur?
