We let her back out and she just stayed at the door meowing,so she's back in and made herself at home on the sofa.

Jasper our brought back from deaths door via starvation and disease is not a lap cat nor a dog cat . From the barely 12 ounces he weighed when we first got this flea infested skin of worms & open sores he's now a 3 & 1/2 pound slab of pure muscle . He can run nine full successive circuits of the lounge , hall & both bedrooms in a single circuit of about 40 yards at a time . The 27 kg dog just lays still and allows him to run on him , they have even started sleeping together inthe do bed .
Neither Alison no I can pick Jasper up and hold him for more than a few seconds at a time ..one loud meow , a hiss and a grown and he's ready to launch himself off you .. get him down to the floor quick lest you want a set of claw marks from his launching off . Yet he is one of the most endearing playful cats I've ever come across , as he'll walk along side of me suddenly roll over and play with my shoe laces or have a soft play fight with my bare toes .
Late last night he was going scatty with his stuffed with cat nip cloth mouse .. eventually he was up on his back legs flicking it up in the air and catching it . The finale was with one almighty flick he flung it a good five foot high over my arm chair and onto the back of the settee , to follow it a millisecond or so later . Using me as bounding up points .

Our de-nutted 18 month old moggy has recently taken to doing a circuit of the bedrooms ,hallway and lounge then as it has it's speed up it runs across the hallway wall for about 3 feet some four feet from the ground so it can roll over mid air and land on it's feet in one of the bed rooms to repeat several more circuits .. Poor old dog ..,.. all 27kg of him just hunkers down and keeps quiet .
