CATS!!!!

we've just been adopted by number 4 it's official now he was chipped and vaccinated last tuesday , off to the pdsa on thursday to have his knackers done !
Was in a poor state a couple of months ago and semi living on the bottom shelf of a table on our decking. He's not to bad with the other cats . He now thinks we are worthy of his presence we see what he thinks on thursday I'll have to get some pics .

Cat 1 sees that we are packing the caravan and goes and hides in the hotpress, making a noise like a folded towel. (Caravan trips used to entail boarding cattery, now no.1 son stays at home to look after cats, or vise versa).View attachment 342515

Cat 2 finds a comfy spot in the caravan and was a bit miffed that he wasn't actually allowed to come with us.

We used to take our OSCAR the cat with us on caravan holidays . . Living out in the sticks and working from home he'd follow us as good as any faithful Golden Labrador would . One month long whisky trail holiday wending our way from Guyhirn Cambridgeshire to Nairn , over the Ness then back & along the Ness across to the west coast and back down via Carlisle . He went missing at Troon which was the final stop before driving back home that early morning . Alison was beside herself . very tear full when I put a notice into the site lodge about him when it opened at 09.00 hrs .

Emptied his litter tray in the site waste bin ,washed it out stored it in the bathroom , packed up everything else & still floods of tears . Did my tyre checks , more tears , opened the bonnet for a first parade check ....more floods of tears from Al.
I was just about to close it when I heard this friendly " Pur...emoow pur.. emow , looked to where it was coming from , at first I couldn't see anything . Then in the middle of the blackness two big happy yellow eyes opened adjacent to & under the headlight in the LHF wing of my Astra estate . He leisurely got out , jumped on my shoulder and meowed for food . The tears stopped almost immediately .
He managed many more caravan trips but rarely every moved much from the litter tray under the caravan or in the awning or the open van door .

A friend takes her Main Coon with her it has a harness but only when they go for a walk it does not go more than 12 ft from van normally.
They look happy cats

Spoilt rotten, but great little characters. Wouldn't be without them. Had cats all my life.

We were visiting the historic railway at Kirkby Stephen Kirkby Stephen East over the East break and made the acquaintance of Barras the Station cat, who was promoted from Deputy Station cat during covid.

he must have a sixth sense the new one he's usually in and out all day , supposed to be at the vets 3.30 yesterday for a pre knacker check strlls in the house 4.15 been out all day . needed to keep him in no food after midnight for ball job tomorrow he's usually havin a kip on the settee by now but guess what .............. no one's seen sight nor sound of since dinner time today CATS

Before any one says it I can leave the shower on cooler and she will walk under it and let me wash her with Johnson’s baby shampoo and dry her, proper mental cat

He's just wandered in , cat flaps locked dishes in the sink in half an hour and by tomorrow dinner time he'll be just Billy

One of ours just used to rip the cat flap door of its hinges had to make a wood plug that locked in place

The fur detail leaves my mouth slack and it's a very impressive piece.

Siamese X ?

Yeah she definitely has the voice and slim nose of a Siamese
We had three when I was growing up and she has the traits of them

I will say she has to be the most affectionate cat Iv ever had. I’d been looking for the right one for a while and she was looking for a new home as the girl that had her was moving with her dad to a place that wouldn’t allow any pets so a bottle of rosé is all she cost(and the claw marks on the back of one of the chairs)

Well he went yesterday and was done ! was a good job to as what we thought was a lump of matted hair turned out to be an absis , bite the vet thought .

supposed to kept in for the next 48 hrs he's escaped once already and the antibiotic tablets are fun . he'll have more than nackers done done if she catches him on the kitchen side again

don't know what the fuss is about really I'm positive he wasn't attracted by ther cooking though !
