One of our old cats managed to climb a ladder in the garage into a storage area and from there find a way somehow into the house loft where she'd sit waiting to be 'rescued'. Never bothered to go back out the way she came in. Couldn't leave the garage door open or she'd be up there.I stuck our old cat in the loft as he seemed to be interested...didn't see him for half an hour but eventually a head appeared at the top of the ladder wanting out ....he had a good hunt around as he came out covered in dust!
Well, they invented the interweb, so levitation is a mere bagatell. They get in some mad places for sure, there was a big old tatty corrugated barn at a place I worked at, with a bit of joist sticking out about by 10 ins.. and about 15ft up in the air, completely sheer metal face of building with nothing to climb on.
One of the "works" cats would often just appear sitting on this bit of wood, she'd stay there for a bit, then next time you went round there and looked, gone. I've absolutely no idea how she got up there (and down again) to this day.
With hindsight I should have got a cup of tea and sat watching to see how she got down.. tho I bet she'd have just waited me out with full knowledge I wasn't going to stay there all dayWell, they invented the interweb, so levitation is a mere bagatell.
Lost our ginger fella back in Dec...holding off getting another cat but seeing your pic really made me want a new fur ball in my life.Pub cat:
Muffy Tuff used to get up in the loft up the steep (80 degreesish) aluminium loft ladder. Hatch had been open for several years, and liked to sleep up there. He would climb down controllably too. No mean feat, as he only has three legs. Now he is 18, he has given up on all that. One of our old cats managed to climb a ladder in the garage into a storage area and from there find a way somehow into the house loft where she'd sit waiting to be 'rescued'.
